Child Safety Standards
Loci, developed by Brennan McDonald, is committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe community. These standards apply to all content, conduct, and use of the Loci mobile app.
Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Loci strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Sextortion or sexual blackmail involving a child.
- Sex trafficking or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.
- Using Loci to facilitate, promote, normalize, or encourage any form of CSAE.
Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Users can report concerning content directly in Loci by opening the content's options menu and selecting Report Post. Child safety concerns may also be reported by email to brennan.mcdonald.mail@gmail.com.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement before reporting the concern to Loci.
Enforcement and Response
Loci reviews child safety reports and takes appropriate action when it becomes aware of prohibited content or conduct. Actions may include removing content, restricting or terminating accounts, preserving relevant information, and reporting confirmed CSAM or other suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, or the applicable regional authority, as required by law.
Compliance
Loci complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We will cooperate with lawful investigations and valid requests from relevant authorities concerning CSAE or CSAM.
